Nikolai Levichev: Finland is eroding the principle of the diplomatic dialogue 03 июля 2015 Nikolai Levichev, Vice-Chairman of the State Duma commented on the SD statement regarding the decision of the Finnish authorities to refuse some members of the Russian delegation headed by Sergei Naryshkin, the State Duma Chairman to enter Finland: Acting in a destructive anti-Russian direction, Finland treated the Speaker of the Lower Chamber of the Parliament of the largest state in the world as an ineligible foreigner. This erodes the very essence of the European principle of the diplomatic dialogue. The State Duma’s answer has nothing to do with a threat to Finland; the State Duma just warns the Finnish authorities that their unfriendly actions will catch up with them. Moreover, they are sure to catch up with the initiators of breaking up the fundamentals of the European security and cooperation. It has been over a year that Europe pretends being able to do without Russia, and tries its best to tease, to hurt or to humiliate us. Nothing will come of it! Who is going to win in this useless externally heated confrontation? The answer is rather evident: it is he who is right, i.e. Russia.
