Alexander Romanovich received a delegation of the National Congress of Kurdistan 19 июня 2015 Alexander Romanovich, Secretary of the Presidium of the JR Party Central Council for Foreign Affairs, a deputy of the SD JR party faction received a delegation of the National Congress of Kurdistan. Merab Shamoev, Co-Chairman of the International Council of Kurdish Public Associations and Farkhat Patiev, Co-Chairman of the Council of the Federal National-Cultural Kurdish Autonomy were on the delegation. The parties discussed the issues connected with the current situation in the Middle East. In particular, they touched upon the problems that are urgent for the Kurds at present. The representatives of the delegation of the National Congress of Kurdistan told Mr. Romanovich about the combat operations going on in the region, practical lack of assistance from the International Red Cross, and a severe shortage of hospitals, medical equipment and medical staff.
