Sergei Mironov: Donbas is the last bastion in the fight against the Ukrainian fascist pseudostate 22 декабря 2015 Sergei Mironov, Chairman of Party AJUST RUSSIA and the Leader of its State Duma faction made comments on the situation in Ukraine and Donbas: It has been two years since the people of Donbas started courageously resisting the enemies and defending their right to live on their own land. However, as the latest events show, these people have a more global mission: they must stop and destroy the Ukrainian fascism which has become a dominating ideology in completely decayed Ukraine that has lost the remains of its statehood. Both Russian and Ukrainian experts who participated in roundtable "Grey Zone of Europe. The potential of Ukrainian terrorist threat as a consequence of the statehood crisis" held by Party A JUST RUSSIA at the State Duma on 16 December 2015 confirmed irreversibility of Ukraine’s chaotization as even the USA under whose direct patronage the country has been for the last two years is not always able to make an impact on the actions of the Ukrainian authorities. Ukraine has actually turned into an IS analogue in Europe – a terrorist state poisoned by fascist ideology, the one where the idea of treasury for the sake of profit has become the national idea. This is the conclusion drawn by the experts and politologists at the roundtable. However, there are people who have been resisting fascism in spite of shelling of their cities and villages, an information war, and torture and execution in the Donbas region as well as acts of atrocity committed by the Ukrainian punitive battalions. Moreover, nothing broke the spirit of the Donbas people, just on the contrary, all that united them around the common idea and gave them the force to repel the enemies and win important military (Illovaysk, Debaltsevo) and diplomatic victories. At last, Europe stops to perceive the Donbas residents as rebels and starts to treat DPR and LPR as the territories with an active building of their own states, and acknowledge the right of the Donbas residents to do it. The people of Donbas have become stronger for the last two years in their fight against fascism and terrorism. Moreover, I am absolutely sure that the residents of DPR and LPR will achieve the victory.
