Tatiana Moskalkova: we must do our best to prevent the Islamic State threats from becoming real in Russia 14 ноября 2015 Tatiana Moskalkova, deputy Chairperson of the SD Committee on CIS Affairs, Eurasian Integration and Relations with Compatriots, a JR SD faction member spoke out in connection with the terrorist acts in Paris: A terrible tragedy happened in Paris yesterday. Hundreds of people were killed or injured in a series of terrorist acts there. This is another challenge human civilization is facing. Once again we have seen a barbaric bloody character of terrorism. Now the whole peace loving humanity vigorously condemns the terrible acts of terror in Paris and extends its condolences to the French people in connection with these inhuman murders. We, the Russians, have already felt grief at various times in connection with the acts of terror committed in Russia. And we know the importance of a spiritual support in such cases. I’d like to join the words of grief addressed the French people, express my condolence to the families and friends of the people killed and injured in the acts. The guilty must be punished. Russia has always stood for a wide real international cooperation in fighting terrorism as the latter does not acknowledge any borders. The events in Paris confirm correctness of this position. In the light of the tragic events in Paris, timeliness of Russian President Vladimir Putin’s decision on Russia’s participation on the territory of Syria in the fight against terrorist organization "Islamic State" forbidden in the RF got another proof once again. Russia must draw the conclusions from the terrorist acts in Paris. It is necessary to do everything possible to prevent the "Islamic State" threats from becoming real in Russia. It is required to strengthen the measures of internal security and to perfect the system of antiterrorist protection. A well thought-out migration policy is also very significant. We need strong law enforcement bodies and special services.
