Olga Yepifanova: we need special programs for antiterrorist education of school children and students 14 ноября 2015 Olga Yepifanova, Chairperson of the State Duma Committee on Family, Women and Children, a JR faction deputy spoke out in connection with the terrorist acts in Paris: The events that happened in France are nothing but brutality and gross cruelty in relation to civilians. This is our common pain and tragedy. At the same time, it is important to realize that terrorism is a threat for the world. The threat all of us, big and small, must fight all together against. There are few people who possess knowledge and skills of personal security, know how to behave in case of a possible threat, and where to apply to get a prompt response. It doesn’t have to be this way. Moreover, we need special programs for antiterrorist education of school children and students. To get such knowledge and master such skills, school children must attend special classes on security where they will be taught how to behave in case of finding some suspicious subjects and how to resist the factors of stress. I am going to apply to the RF Government with such a proposal.
