JR representatives participated in work of the Women’s Wing of the International Conference of Asian Political Parties 08 ñåíòÿáðÿ 2015 On 03 September, Baku hosted the 3rd meeting of the Women’s Wing of the International Conference of Asian Political Parties (ICAPP) participated by Olga Krasilnikova, a deputy of the A Just Russia party faction at the State Duma, and Rushaniya Bilgildeyeva, Chairman of the Council of the AJR Party regional branch in the Republic of Tatarstan. Over 60 women politicians, public leaders and representatives of international organizations from 22 countries in Asia, Africa and Latin America participated in work of the Women’s Wing. Olga Krasilnikova, the head of the A JUST RUSSIA delegation made the report entitled "On Women’s Health in the Russian Federation". Malahat Ibragimgizy, Co-Chairperson of the ICAPP Women’s Wing, a member of the Political Council of the ruling party "Eni Azerbaijan" and Milli Mejlis (Parliament) said that the goal of the event is to call together all women-politicians from Asia and enter into cooperation to achieve peace, stability and positive development in the region. Another Co-Chairperson of the ICAPP Women’s Wing Pak In Suk, who is also a member of the National Assembly of the Republic of Korea, stressed certain success achieved in provision of gender equality in the world. She emphasized that the number of women in parliaments and state bodies had increased. The participants listened to the reports devoted to eradication of poverty among women, the problems of health, education and women’s involvement in political life and discussed solution of these problems. "Baku Statement on Women in Asia" was passed at a final meeting of the ICAPP Women’s Wing. On the sidelines of the 3rd meeting of the ICAPP Women’s Wing, the delegation of Party A JUST RUSSIA met with their colleagues from Azerbaijan, Malaysia, the Republic of Korea, Singapore, Turkey and the other countries. Vladimir Dorohin, the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Russian Federation to the Republic of Azerbaijan received the AJR delegation. Olga Krasilnikova and Rushaniya Bilgildeeva shared with the ambassador their impressions about the ICAPP event. In his turn, Vladimir Dorohin told them about the situation in Azerbaijan and development of the mutual relations in the modern period.
