JR transferred 300 000 rubles for creation of the memorial to journalists killed in the line of duty 23 апреля 2015 Party A JUST Russia supported the initiative of the Moscow Journalists’ Union on creation of the memorial to Russian journalists killed when performing the editorial tasks in areas of armed conflicts and military operations. Speaking at the Moscow Journalists’ Union in February this year, Sergei Mironov, Chairman of Party A JUST RUSSIA, the leader of the State Duma party faction highly appreciated the initiative to install in Moscow a monument to journalists killed in the line of duty. "It is a very good initiative. The journalists killed in the line of duty do merit commemoration, and we are ready to support the initiative," Sergei Mironov declared. In April, Party A JUST RUSSIA was the first among the political parties that transferred funds for creation of the memorial: 300 000 rubles were received on account of the Journalists’ Union.
