Victor Shudegov received Olga Nahtmanova, a deputy of the National Council of the Slovak Republic 12 марта 2015 On 12 March, Victor Shudegov, deputy Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Education, a deputy of the A JUST RUSSIA faction received Olga Nahtmanova, a deputy (the governing party "Direction – Social Democracy) of the National Council (parliament) of the Slovak Republic (at her request). The Slovak deputy was accompanied by the staff members of the Embassy of the Slovak Republic in the RF: Counsellor for Cultural Affairs, Director of the Slovak Institute Yan Shmigula and attaché Mihal Teshler. Olga Nahtmanova, a member of the National Council deputy group on relations with the State Duma of the Russian Federation and a member of the National Council Committee on Education, Science, Youth and Sport asked her Russian colleague to tell them about the latest tendencies in the sphere of education of the Russian Federation. Victor Shudegov particularized the processes of reformation in the educational sphere and answered the questions of the Slovak deputy. Both sides exchanged their opinions concerning the problem points of the educational policy of the two countries. During the meeting, Olga Nahtmanova expressed her interest in a closer cooperation between the Russian and Slovak higher educational institutions. Welcoming the interest of the Slovak side to the Russian higher education, Victor Shudegov confirmed readiness to grant the required aid, including the one at the regional level. Both sides also stressed significance of creation of the necessary conditions for exchange of students, academic experience and other forms of cooperation. At the end of the meeting, both deputies emphasized the significance of maintaining such a dialogue and confirmed their readiness to promote development of the Russian-Slovak relations in the sphere of education.
