Sergei Mironov about the anti-Russian Resolution of the U.S. House of Representatives 06 декабря 2014 On December 04, the U.S. House of Representatives passed Resolution 758 which condemns the policy of Russia towards a number of the former Soviet republics and demands that President Obama’s administration continue the course on imposing sanctions against the RF. Sergei Mironov, the Chairman of Party A JUST RUSSIA, the Leader the AJR State Duma faction made comments on the Resolution: The Resolution passed by the U.S. House of Representatives on December 04 confirms the words of Russian Federation President Putin in the Address to the Federal Assembly about the planned actions of Washington aimed at deterrence of the growing potential of Russia, attempts to substantially limit its opportunities to make independent decisions in the matters of foreign and domestic policy, an obsession to restrict the sovereignty of our country and subject it to the will of the USA. A deliberate stirring up of the anti-Russian moods and Russophobia in the consciousness of the American Everyman is first of all an aspiration to divert the attention of the U.S. population from the "Gordian knot" of problems that have actually flooded the United States. Obvious miscalculations of the White House administration regarding a whole range of important directions cause a just dissatisfaction and an open criticism of not only well-known politicians and experts but also of ordinary citizens of the USA. The demonstrative aggressive actions of the overseas law-makers are nothing but an evident desire to return to the "Cold War" period. Maybe, as it is envisioned by the Washington strategists, a serious external threat from Russia (as we know from US President Obama’s words, Russia occupies the second place in order of threats to security of the United States of America after virus Ebola) must overshadow the majority of the other problems America is facing now. As we say in such cases: "the war will write everything off". They use sanctions, information wars, speculation on the currency exchange and commodity exchange to make Russia "thoughtlessly and blindly" obey "smart and reasonable policy" of the West. "That won’t be," as our President made it clear for everyone.
