Sergei Mironov’s report at international forum "Genocide in Historical Memory of Nations and in Information Wars of Modern Age" 28 октября 2014 Alexander Romanovich, Secretary of the Presidium of the Central Council on International Affairs of Party A JUST RUSSIA, Deputy Chairman of the State Duma International Committee took part in the second public forum "Eurasian Economic Integration; achievements and problems" held in the capital of Tatarstan, November 27-28. Over 300 forum participants from 20 countries discussed the issues of strengthening relations between states, development of a single infrastructure in the space of the Eurasian Economic Union, implementation of large-scale political, economic and cultural projects, entrepreneurial development in the Eurasian space, foreign economic relations of the Customs Union, development of the intellectual property market and strengthening of integration links in the Post-Soviet space. In his speech within the framework of the section meeting "Party dimension of Eurasian cooperation", Alexander Romanovich stressed an important role of the Russian political parties in creation of a favorable political climate for cooperation in the international arena. According to Alexander Romanovich one thing is generally known documents, including the UN founding ones about the rights of nations and nationalities to self-determination, national sovereignty and independent foreign policy but it is totally another how these principles are actually implemented in real life. Some countries (to be more exact, the USA and its satellites) began to neglect the basics of international law and tend to use their ‘fist law’. As for this, political parties must defend the line of the Russian leadership, of President Putin aimed at making Russia stronger so that it might have a look at itself and the surrounding world in a different way. Our country was quite serious when it announced the world about its own interests and firm decision to defend them. According to Alexander Romanovich, Party A JUST RUSSIA considers international activity as one of the main directions of its work. The party considers provision of Russia (including the use of the interparty links) with a rightful and equal place in the world community as an important goal of its international activity. Subject to the Social Democrat doctrine and universal standards of international relations, AJR carries out policy of peaceful solution of any conflicts, the one against the wars resulting in human victims. As Alexander Romanovich stressed, the Party systematically speaks out for superiority of the national and state interests in the international arena, condemns terrorism whose victims are entirely innocent people and stands for prevention of ethnical and religious conflicts. In its current activity in the sphere of international relations, Party A JUST RUSSIA relies only on such approach, and tries to inform its partners about its viewpoint regarding the contemporary problems. The deputy emphasized that in June this year, the Party represented its vision of the Ukrainian crisis at the meeting of the Council of the Socialist International in Mexico. In August, the AJR delegation spoke about Ukraine and other urgent issues at the meeting of the forum in San Paulu, Bolivia. Alexander Romanovich stressed that if some states and institutions of the UN and the Security Council fail to work properly, there should be the states and unions of states, political parties of such countries that have to try to launch a preventive activity in their regions, in Europe, Asia and the Middle East. The parliamentarian thinks that if political parties and other social forces get universally engaged in it, there is going to appear a real chance to make our world more peaceful, safer and open for cooperation in all spheres of life activity. As a moderator, Alexander Romanovich held a section meeting "Eurasian Union in the world arena – cooperation of the new union with the international associations and third countries.
