Sergei Mironov received a delegation of the Great National Assembly of Turkey 26 октября 2014 Sergei Mironov, Chairman of Party A JUST RUSSIA, the Leader of the State Duma party faction received a delegation of the Great National Assembly of Turkey headed by Salih Kapusuz chairing the Turkish-Russian parliamentary Friendship Group of GNA. Ali Riza Ozturk, Ali Halaman and Fatih Bahchiva, the deputies of GNA of Turkey participated in the meeting. The A JUST RUSSIA party faction was also represented by Mikhail Emelyanov, first deputy of the faction leader. According to Sergei Mironov, the benefits of a long-term fruitful cooperation between Russia and Turkey are obvious: growth of trade volume, more intensive regional cooperation and flows of tourism. "Turkish business from Moscow and Saint Petersburg is actively heading for the provinces," the parliamentarian emphasized. "Tourist exchange has grown by 9%" in comparison with the previous year." The members of the Turkish delegation emphasized successful political cooperation between Russia and Turkey. For example, representatives of the two countries have held over 30 bilateral meetings at highest level since 2004. Both sides discussed the issues of mutual interest and expressed their hope for further successful development of their mutual cooperation. The members of the Turkish delegation thanked Mr. Mironov for the kind reception and hospitality, and invited him to pay a visit to the Republic of Turkey.
