Sergey Mironov receives a PRC delegation 21 ноября 2014 Chairman of Party A JUST RUSSIA and Head of the party State Duma faction Sergey Mironov received a delegation from Province Tsiling, PRC lead by Zhou Hua Chen, Deputy Chairman of the Tsiling Province Standing Committee of People’s representatives. Oleg Nilov, deputy head of the JR Duma faction and Vladimir Shuralev, a member of the Party JR Central Council, a retired army general also took part in the meeting. Sergey Mironov welcomed the Chinese delegation and mentioned that he had recently paid a very successful visit to China. "We are glad that our bilateral relations have been developing at the highest level. Only this year the leaders of our countries have met five times, and this is a very high level," he said. The parliamentarian also added that the JR party members highly appreciate the constructive and friendly relations with the Communist Party of China. Sergey Mironov told the delegation members that during his visit to China he raised the question of holding an international conference in the year of the 70th anniversary of victory of the Soviet people in the Great Patriotic war and the victory of the Chinese people over the Japanese intruders. Zhou Hua Chen thanked the politician and offered to make a plan consisting of three points: deepening of cooperation between the members of Party A JUST RUSSIA and representatives of the Tsiling Province, preparation of a yearly plan of mutual visits of the leaders of the two countries and promotion of a mutual cooperation in the humanitarian sphere and others. In particular, this is about the intention of the Chinese side to take an active part in celebration of the 70th anniversary of the victory in the Great Patriotic War. The JR part Chairman expressed his approval of all the three points. Oleg Nilov mentioned that the people of China had suffered a tremendous loss of lives during the second World War (about 20 mln.), so the victory over fascism in 1945 was very significant for PRC as well. Vladimir Shuralev reminded all the present of the fact that Russian-Chinese friendship started almost 70 years ago with signing of the treaty about friendship alliance between the USSR and China on August 24, 1945. At the end of the meeting Sergey Mironov told the guests that in addition to the cultural and students exchange, the plans on cooperation in the entrepreneurial area had already been implemented. "Five Russian-Chinese joint ventures have already been launched in Russia. They appeared thanks to work of our Party with the Hubei Province residents. In my opinion, the same might be done with your businessmen as well," Sergey Mironov specified.
