The JR delegation led by Sergey Mironov is paying an official visit to Beijing 31 октября 2014 The delegation of Party A JUST RUSSIA led by its Chairman Sergey Mironov arrived on a 4-day visit to Beijing on October 30, 2014. Alexey Chepa, a member of the JR Central Council Presidium and Roman Bernatsky, the International Department Head of the Party Headquaters were also on the party delegation that came to Beijing on invitation of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China. The guests were met at the international airport of Beijing by Qian Naicheng, Division deputy director, the International Department of the CPC Central Committee (IDCPC); Li Zhenfu, Head of the Russia Affairs Office of the East European Affairs Department of IDCPC; Victor Paskov, a counselor, Head of the group of bilateral relations of the Russian Embassy in China and Maxim Grechany, Second Secretary of the Russian Embassy in China. Right upon their arrival in the capital of China, the delegation members headed for the Russian diplomatic mission where they had a meeting with Andrey Denisov, Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Russian Federation to China and the diplomatic staff of the embassy. The Head of the Mission informed the delegation members about the principal aspects of bilateral relations between Russia and China which was followed by a brief exchange of opinions. The program of the first day visit was highly-topical. The JR delegation had a number of important meetings with the high-ranking functionaries of the Communist Party of China, in particular, the JR delegation members took part in the banquet held on behalf of Zhou Li, Deputy Head of IDCPC. Alexey Chepa, a member of the A JUST RUSSIA Central Council Presidium informed the host party about work carried out by JR within the framework of annual forums on support of the small and mid-sized businesses of Russia and China. For instance, a fundamental understanding of the necessity of a closer practical cooperation was reached at the latest forum held in Moscow and Vologda this year. Later on, a meeting with Wang Jiarui, ID Head of the CPC Central Committee took place in the department office. There was signed a memorandum about the interparty cooperation between the A JUST RUSSIA party and the communist Party of China for the first time in the history of their mutual relations. Both sides agreed that signing of this document indicates important significance the leaders of the two parties attach to a regular, long term dialogue between them. At the end of the first day of its visit, the delegation of the A JUST RUSSIA party visited the National People’s Congress (NPC) where it was received by Zhang Dajiang, a member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee, Chairman of the Standing Committee of NPC. He informed the delegation members about the results of the 4th plenary session of the CPC Central Committee that finished its work in Beijing and was devoted to the governance of law in and promotion of building the law-abiding government in the country; he also informed the delegation members about work of the National People’s Congress. In his turn, Sergey Mironov told the hosting side about work of the Sate Duma faction of party A JUST RUSSIA and its position regarding the important issues of domestic and foreign policy of Russia. Both sides summarized the Intermediate results of the inter-party cooperation and discussed its new directions during this meeting and the previous ones. There was a dialogue on the issues of the Russian-Chinese strategic partnership and exchange of opinions on the topical issues of the international politics. Both sides expressed their mutual satisfaction with a high level and effectiveness of an all-round cooperation between Russia and China, the A JUST RUSSIA party and CPC. They accepted that close contacts between the two parties are sure to contribute to fostering of good neighborliness and mutual understanding between the two countries and nations. As it was mentioned, approaches of Russia and China to the fundamental issues of the contemporary world order and the key international problems, including the situation in Ukraine, the Crimea, the Korea peninsular, the Middle East and North Africa as well as the Iranian nuclear program either coincide or are close. The CPC representatives stressed that under the conditions of a complicated international situation, sanctions pressure and inspiration of colored revolutions, Russia and China "must concentrate on promotion of their mutually beneficial strategic cooperation, and thus, give the West a proper reply." Sergey Mironov (in particular) said that at present, an overwhelming majority of the Russian citizens and the political forces of the country are united in the matter of the international policy pursued by the leadership of Russia and the measures aimed at consolidation of the statehood. "Our people have rallied around President Vladimir Putin and are ready to counter any sanctions of the West," emphasized Mr. Mironov. When discussing the issues of the inter-party cooperation, both sides stated fruitful development of relations between JR and CPC over several years, a steady rise of the level of mutual trust and understanding, and the actual practical results achieved during the years as well as availability of interesting long term plans. There was confirmed adherence to expansion and deepening of the dialogue between the two parties, expressed an opinion that the united efforts might make a significant contribution to the Russian-Chinese paradigm of an all-round, equal, trusted partnership and strategic cooperation. Alexey Chepa, a member of the Central Council Presidium of party A JUST RUSSIA had a meeting with the representatives of Shanghai Company NIPSEA GROUP NIPPON PAINT СO.LTD. within the visit’s framework (the company is going to create a joint venture for production of paints in Vologda). Mr. Chepa also held talks with the representatives of the Economic Cooperation Center of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee.
