The A JUST RUSSIA delegation led by Sergey Mironov completed its visit to China 05 ноября 2014 Finalizing the visit, the A JUST RUSSIA representatives headed by the Party Chairman and the leader of the A JUST RUSSIA State Duma faction Sergey Mironov visited a number of cultural sights and held meetings that contributed to cooperation between the two parties. At the end of their visit to China, the delegation members visited Hubei Province where they were received by the Hubei Province member of the standing Committee of the Communist Party of China Wang Xiaodong. We’d like to remind you that in addition to Sergey Mironov, the delegation also included Alexei Chepa, a member of the Central Council Presidium of Party A JUST RUSSIA and Roman Bernatsky, the International Department Head. On October 31, the A JUST RUSSIA delegation visited the Chinese Museum of Geology where its members familiarized themselves with a vast exhibition of minerals. After that the JR representatives visited telecommunication company HUAWEI. There was held a relevant presentation for the guests who also had a meeting and a talk with its Vice-President Emy Lin and the other leading officials of the HUAWEI Company during which they discussed cooperation between Russia and Chine in the high-tech area. Summarizing the results of the second day of the party delegation visit to PRC, Sergey Mironov gave Andrei Kirillov, the director of the Beijing bureau of Russia’s News Agency TASS, an expanded interview. In the evening of that day, the party delegation left for the city of Wuhan (Province Hubei). During its stay there from November 1st to November 2nd, the delegation visited the Expo Center of the high-tech development zone Dunhu where the guests were demonstrated the achievements of Chinese science and shown a presentation movie devoted to the contemporary opportunities and prospects of implementation of high-tech solutions. After that the JR representatives were received by Wang Xiaodong, the first vice-governor of Hubei Province who is also the Hubei Province member of the Standing Committee of the Communist Party of China. Both sides exchanged their opinions about the state and prospects of further development of cooperation between the two parties, touched upon some aspects of international politics and once again confirmed coincidence and similarity of the positions of Russia and China regarding a number of topical issues. Wang Xiaodong paid special attention to a close cooperation between the two parties in holding an annual forum on support of small and medium-sized businesses of Russia and China. He noted the high efficiency of the event that took place in Moscow and Vologda in June 2014, and stressed the weighty personal contribution of Alexei Chepa (a member of the Central Council Presidium of Party A JUST RUSSIA) in development of a successful partnership between Russian and Chinese entrepreneurs. Representatives of PRC also offered to continue an active implementation of the mechanisms contributing to strengthening and development of Russian-Chinese business cooperation, and partnership between the city conglomerates of the middle reaches of the Yangtze river area and the Privolzhsky Federal District. They expressed their interest in the Russian support of the attempts made by the Chinese side to get the Great Tea Road (from China to Russia) put on the list of the world cultural heritage and development of the belt of the Great Silk Road through making use of the geographical and infrastructure opportunities of the two countries – the railway line Wuhan-Urumqi-Europe and the Wuhan-Moscow flight connection. The JR delegation visited the Urban Planning exhibition hall of metropolitan city Wuhan with a population of 10 million people. The city administration demonstrated the guests the contemporary ways of solution of the public service and social problems as well as some others the megapolis residents face. In the city of Wuhan, Alexei Chepa held talks with a representative of the Wuhan metallurgic plant which is one of the largest iron and steel enterprises in PR China. During its two-day visit to the capital city of Province Hubei, the delegation of Party A JUST RUSSIA also had an opportunity to see some cultural attractions, including the Orthodox Church of Alexander Nevsky restored by the local specialists.
