The State Duma deputies of the A JUST RUSSIA faction received a DPRK delegation 09 октября 2014 The State Duma deputies of the A JUST RUSSIA faction – Alexander Chetverikov, a member of the SD Committee on Economic Policy, Innovation Development and Entrepreneurship and Mikhail Serdiuk, a member of the SD Committee on Budget and Taxes received an official delegation of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea led by An He-Min, Chief of the Russian Sector of the International Department of the Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea. At the beginning of the meeting, the DPRK representatives told the host side about their recent visit to Byelorussia where was held a photo exhibition commemorating the 30th anniversary of the visit to the USSR of the DPRK founder Kim Ir-Sen. There were exhibited 62 archive photos. A wide range of issues of mutual interest was touched upon during further talks. In particular, both sides exchanged their opinions on the international problems (including the situation on the Korean peninsula and the one in Ukraine), and the economic and humanitarian issues. There was continued a dialogue on promotion of the development of cooperation between the two parties in 2015. Both sides expressed their satisfaction with a visible activation of the trade, economic and other relations between Russia and DPRK. They also welcomed the intention of the Russian Federation leadership to significantly increase trade exchange between the two countries in the foreseeable future. Alexander Chetverikov and Mikhail Serdiuk told their guests about the practical measures taken by the representatives of the A JUST RUSSIA deputy corps aimed at harmonization of the Russian legislation in the sphere of labor migration policy which might (in their opinion) provide Korean specialists with additional opportunities for realization of their professional capabilities in the sphere of economic cooperation between the two states. At the end of the meeting, both sides confirmed their readiness to promote strengthening and development of the all-round relations between the two countries on the ground of neighborliness and mutual respect.
