"I am absolutely sure that all this results from the policy of frustration of the States and the European Union because they are making hard attempts to affect Russia instead of switching on all mechanisms to prevent bloodshed and finding courage to face the truth and the reality of what is going on in the south-east of Ukraine: what kind of a reprisal raid is being held and how people are dying there," Sergei Mironov said. The parliamentarian remarked that the sanctions of assets freeze will have an impact on the activities of several financial institutions and Russian companies. "I don’t think it is rather favorable for the Russian economy, but we mustn’t be afraid of the sanctions," the deputy explained. Sergei Mironov emphasized that the whole economic block of the RF should be ready that such sanctions will be imposed sooner or later. "They want to punish Russia for the things it is not doing. Moreover, instead of punishing bloody Piotr Poroshenko, they are trying to punish Russia," added the politician.
