Address to the citizens of the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics of Sergei Mironov, Chairman of Political Party A JUST RUSSIA, due to aggravation of the humanitarian situation in the zone of an armed confrontation in Ukraine 23 мая 2014 Political party A JUST RUSSIA considers inadmissible the use of the Ukraine Armed Forces against the peaceful civilians and demands an immediate termination of any form of violence in the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics. The authorities who came to power in the result of an anticonstitutional coup d’etat in Kiev are not legitimate, and their orders of a physical suppression of dissent are illegal and criminal. The so-called antiterrorist operation declared by those authorities is actually a punitive operation against the citizens whose political views and beliefs differ from theirs. Instead of making attempts to solve the political crisis in a peaceful way, the Kiev junta has already launched a civil war in Ukraine relying on the extreme nationalist forces and the oligarchic clans. The paramilitary forces created from among the Right Sector militants at the order from Kiev carry out mass murders and demonstrative reprisals against all the discontented. Political party A JUST RUSSIA qualifies those acts as crimes against humanity and is going to seek an international investigation and conviction of the guilty. Responsibility for the launched terror and daily murders of peaceful citizens of Donbas is sure to come one day. At present, the evil deeds of the Kiev junta have resulted in a real humanitarian catastrophe. Party A JUST RUSSIA is seriously concerned about such a course of events, and considers it as its task promotion with all available peaceful means of normalization in all spheres of life support in the territories of the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics. For this purpose, on May 22 the Presidium of the Central Council of party A JUST RUSSIA made a decision to render material aid to the fraternal people – the citizens of the Lugansk and Donetsk People’s Republics. We are sure that many people of Russia will answer the call of our party to give a helping hand at a difficult moment of fighting for freedom and political rights. Our solidarity is our power. Party A JUST RUSSIA is convinced that only our mutual aspiration for living in peace will make it possible to stop a fratricidal war. It is a political dialogue that will define a just future. S.M.
