Moscow region: Igor Chistiukhin received a delegation of the Sofia City Council of the Bulgarian Socialist Party 07 июля 2015 Igor Chistiukhin, the leader of the A JUST RUSSIA party faction at the Moscow Region Duma, deputy Chairman of the Moscow Region Parliament received a delegation of the Sofia City Council of the Bulgarian Socialist Party (BSP). "Our parties are similar in their political platforms, and our nations have always been on good friendly relations. Today you remain committed to this friendship, stand firmly against the attempts to play off Russia against the EU and favor the all-round development of relations between Russia and Bulgaria," Igor Chistiukhin said in his address to the representatives of the Bulgarian Socialist Party. The participants of the meeting discussed their plans for the nearest autumn: both parties are going to take part in the elections in their countries. As Igor Chistiukhin said, the municipal elections are very important as it is the municipal authority which is maximum close to the population. Being the second largest faction (in number of deputies) at the National Assembly of the Republic of Bulgaria (Parliament), the Bulgarian socialists think it is necessary to enhance their parliamentary presence so that to consistently pursue policy of social justice. The head of the Bulgarian delegation Kaloyan Pargov expressed hope for further cooperation between the two parties and signing in the short term of the program of mutual cooperation.
